Our heart is constantly looking to connect.
Our relationship to one another is the most important thing in our lives, We are a species that thrives when we authentically connect. Yet we live in a time where it seems we are looking for ways in which we differ.
We may find, in our attempt(s) to connect, come across moments of confusion or miscommunication. Most of us, myself included, have found that these moments cause considerable frustration. When we allow ourselves to disconnect from one another, we are disconnecting from ourselves - from our true loving nature.
True belonging doesn’t require you to change who you are; it requires you to be who you are. - Brene Brown (Braving the Wilderness, 2017)
When we invite ourselves into the practice of connection we discover this beautiful true loving nature. When we live mindfully in place, our action will naturally reflect our best intent.
How do you want to show up in the world? How do you want to show up in your relationships? These are decisions we have the power to make - our actions are all we have control over.
There are no enlightened being only enlightened action - Shunryu Suzuki
You are the paintbrush, You are the Artist, You are the Masterpiece. Notice your daily actions and intentions and take time to reflect on how they align with your loving nature. Change starts with you.
with love.
