Yesterday I awoke to the whisper of “Divine Timing”. The words washed over my body before I had the opportunity to open my eyes. I embraced this reminder that All is coming.. in due time.
Life can be so uncertain, In each moment we find ourselves grasping for more of what we want (happiness, joy, things, people) or in eversion to what we don’t want (sadness, experiences, pain).
It takes an incredible amount of discomfort (and strength) to lean into the vulnerability it takes to trust in these moments of uncertainty.
What we discover when we face this discomfort, pain, attachment and eversion is a place known as Sacred Space. Stillness. Self. Truth.
Be right there with this experience. Call it by it’s name and offer it your true honest presence. I am asking for a practice of bravery, To step into the arena and to see what we have been putting ourselves up against. To see what is on the other side.
Pain is the price of admission for living in this world. It is the first of the Four Noble Truths taught by the Buddha. It is inevitable.
May our pain (both individual and collective) be the gateway and great teacher towards rediscovering our True Loving Nature.
